30 Day Drawing Challenge, Day 8: Close Your Eyes, Draw A Batman

I was looking forward to this so that I could see how terrible it would come out.

I had started by drawing a foundation circle for the head, figuring that I’d anchor my hand in place if I could reference that one spot. Well, that went out the window. I know I should have stuck to a silhouette, but I wanted to get fancy. At least several Bat-identifiers are on the paper: A utility belt, spiked gauntlets, a bat symbol, and pointy ears on the cowl.

This is more of what I was going for (drawn with eyes open, no reference picture):

Yeah. It’s the cheesy Adam West Batman. What are ya gonna do about it? 🙂
