This was a tough-y, because I decided to take it very literally. What do I actually NEED in life. Well, as a homeless man once told me on the way into McDonald’s, “Ya gotta eat ta live.”
Of all the things that I could use (ink for my printer, a new book case, etc…) there was not a single one that I truly needed. Sure, it would be nice to own a home or have this or that, but in the end, what I really need is food. Without food, water, and air to breathe, you and I are dead.
These are the things folks need in life, and it is something to keep in mind next time you say you need something.

Wise homeless man’s words with stay with us forever. I love how you did the bunch of carrots. Fanstatic!
We should put this in the kitchen.
I feel like this would/should/could be tattooed on Alton Brown’s body =)
